"It's All in the Details" - Lynn

I took the above series of photos at my friend
Peggy's studio.  This is "Baby Cora's Quilt" made
with pieces of Cora's Mom's baby dresses.

Airbrush Mural

I still have to finish the turtle and monkey...then it all gets a clear coat of acrylic polyurethane
which makes it really POP...It's not bad considering I haven't airbrushed for several years...
Next I have to do a tree with butterflies for Marlee's room.

Perspective - Lynn

The Bleachers at Skowhegan High School

Shot in the late afternoon light from a low angle.
I loved how the light from the storm clouds
was reflecting on the silver bleachers.

Perspective - Pepper

Well this is a tough category for me....but here goes

This is Kyleigh at the Louisville Zoo...giraffes in the background providing "perspective"

Kyleigh and Marlee at the zoo playing in the outline of a gorilla.  I only had my 70-200 lens and couldn't back up far enough to get the entire thing in the frame...but you get the gist of it.

The mother gorilla brought out the baby while we were there...look at the tiny fingers compared to the mother's hand and next pic shows the tiny little head....it was tough shooting in a crowd, through the glass.

Faces - Lynn

Neil, a Vietnam Veteran, is a familiar face in Skowhegan.  He walks the along the
streets of Skowhegan with his bike in tow, collecting bottles and cans almost every day.
He always has a smile and a wave for everyone who passes by him and sometimes a kiss for special people.

I could not resist this smiling face that I found at Boynton's Greenhouse.

This is probably the most famous face in Skowhegan.

A full length view of the Skowhegan Indian.
He is a pretty tall guy as you can see by the size of the
pickup truck and Abbie standing between the signs.

And finally...the faces of the cutest bunch of Leprechans that
walk the halls of the Skowhegan Area Middle School...
